Suitable for iPhone 6.0 and above. This app calculates the ultimate bending moment capacity of a rectangular concrete beam with a single layer of tensile reinforcement to AS3600. The user inputs beam width, beam depth, concrete strength, cover to reinforcement, bar diameter, number of bars, ligature diameter, yield strength of reinforcement, and the design bending moment M*. The effective depth d is calculated based on the cover, ligature size, and bar size. The beam and reinforcement plus the ultimate bending moment is shown clearly in a diagram.
