Beach Selecta gives you water quality data for nearly 500 designated bathing waters during the bathing season (May to September) in England and Wales, based on data from the Environment Agency website. Also included is data on car parks, tides and weather and lots more useful information. The bathing water quality is measured against the standards in the current European Bathing Water Directive: The most recent sample results are published on the Environment Agency website and through this application. IMPORTANT: Due to the time needed for laboratory analysis, the results shown may represent samples taken up to four weeks prior to today's date. The date of the latest sample is displayed on the application.\n\n
