Today, Kurt continues to compete and judge at numerous dance events, however, he is most proud of winning the award of Top Teacher for the last several years. Kurt's success as a competitive dancer and as a teacher is due in part to his calming, approachable presence, and his skill at explaining technical details in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. These are very powerful components that make a great dance teacher, for he helps his students feel comfortable on the dance floor. Kurt is very experienced at understanding body mechanics and clearly communicates how you can correct small details to create a big impact.
