Black Box Warning/Drug Disease checker is a new exciting app designed to help you stay in control of your health. Have you wondered if the medicine you were taking was making you worse? Have you ever wondered is this medication ok with my chronic disease?
BBW/Drug Disease Checker lets you find out the answers to your questions!!
BBW/Drug Disease Checker allows you to enter your chronic diseases and enter your medications. The application then checks FDA black box warnings currently published to see if your chronic disease is contraindicated or mentioned in any way.
If a match is detected then either a partial or a full match message will be listed next to the medication. A full match is listed in RED whereas a partial match will be listed in YELLOW.
You (the user) are able to then click on the highlighted matched medication and read the black box warning for yourself. The BBW/Drug Disease checker will highlight any matched words in YELLOW. You can then contact your health care provider for more information regarding the black box warning.
This app is not intended to diagnose or treat any health condition or to give advice regarding your prescribed medication and or chronic health condition.
The app is however intended to provide you the consumer and or patient with currently FDA issued black box warning information for you to read and investigate further if need be.
The application is designed to empower the user and put you in control of your health along with your health care provider.
