Brace Off! is a simple log for General Dentists to help them keep track of orthodontic patients, see their current treatment plans and when they can expect to complete their treatment.
At a glance, it allows you to:
- see how many active cases are on your books (sorted by gender, then alphabetically)
- see the name, age and photo of the patient
- cases which are in the final 6 months are flagged orange
- cases which are past their planned completion date are flagged red.
The following is stored with each record:
PERSONAL DETAILS
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Photograph or other image
ORTHODONTIC PLAN
- Functional Appliance (yes/no)
- LLA/TPA (yes/no)
- Palatal Expansion (yes/no)
- Fixed Appliance (yes/no)
- Extraction (yes/no)
- Occlusion (Class I, Class II, Class III)
- The start date for treatment
- The planned duration (6-12, 12-18, 18-24, 24-30 months)
- A section for additional notes relevant to the case
Patient records can be modified at any time and when they are no longer requiring tracking, can be deleted with a swipe. This will also delete the locally stored photo (within the app) to free up space.
On devices that support 3D touch, peek to view the patient's card, pop to open it for editing. It also supports multitasking on iPad.
