EASY TO USE AND PERFECT TO FIND OUT ANY SKI SLOPE ANGLE
To use, just hold the device in your hand and angle it to the ski slope. You can even hold it in your ski glove and use your ski glove as the slope surface to measure by putting your hand over the snow. Then you can brag to your friends how you just went skiing down a super steep slope and can actually tell them the angle.
Note though, each device has its own accelerometer discrepancies and some readings may appear off by a few degrees. If you hold the device in the position for a while, the readings tend to clear up a bit. You can also test the app out before you get to the ski slopes to see if your device has any accelerometer discrepancies.
This scale is for entertainment purposes only and in no way can adequately predict whether the unusual or usual conditions you are in will cause an avalanche to occur as many factors beyond just the slope angle contribute to the probability of an avalanche. Always ski with a certified and official ski guide, carry the recommended snow avalanche equipment, and perform snow pack checks by a certified personnel.
