The Allergy Academy was formed as a response to the shortcomings in Allergy education highlighted by the House of Lords report into UK Allergy Services.
The aim of the Academy is to deliver high quality educational opportunities and provide a broad based, comprehensive programme that will serve the full range of people who are currently demanding it – patients, parents, nurses, dieticians, general and specialist physicians.
The Academy programme is focused on offering practical courses which will help develop the practice of the large number of different health care professionals who deal with allergic patients every day.
At the touch of your finger tips, free of charge on any Apple mobile device (including the iPad), you can access programme information; register on our courses; view lecture webcasts and our all new video journal club; join in with e-learning opportunities and interactive links to our social media sites.
Future developments planned include: resources for both patients and health care professionals, as well as an Android compatible version.
