Alz You Need is a connective mobile application that helps families with a loved one battling Alzheimer's or a dementia-related illness to communicate and organize their days, ultimately, helping the person with dementia to live their lives independently for as long as possible.
Benefits of use:
- a closed family network that creates a connective space for important family information to be exchanged (including doctors information and/or other private information)
- simple interface that is easy for the person living with dementia to navigate
- notepad where key information can be placed in an impossible-to-miss location that is accessible for the entire family
- reminders for the person living with dementia that can be set by anyone in the family network, and set with “pre-reminder” alerts (ex: 45 minutes before an appointment)
- "emergency" button that will text entire family network in case of emergency
