Regional and National Conventions of the American Guild of Organists are joint ventures between the AGO national organization and local AGO host chapters. They combine the talents and abilities of both partners, respecting the practical and creative strengths of each to utilize the advantages and resources of a given geographic area, and to express the larger vision of the whole regional or national membership and its needs. Regional Conventions are held in odd-numbered years in each of the Guild's seven regions: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Great Lakes, North Central, Southwest, and West. National Conventions occur in even-numbered years at locations throughout the USA.
