AlertEnterprise's Password Management app allows Organizations to enable self-service password management capabilities for their employees, contractors and other identities. Users can log into the AlertEnterprise app to change their password, manage challenge response questions and perform other functions.
When resetting passwords, users can select if they want to change password of one specific system or all systems they have accounts in. If system APIs and AlertEnterprise configuration allow real time changes, new passwords will be pushed out immediately, and manual requests will be routed through a manual workflow.
In addition to password change and challenge response capabilities, users can also unlock their own accounts which are locked because of multiple wrong password attempts. Typically locked accounts require manual intervention, however organizations can provide this as a self-service capability to their users.
