Exemptions Application for the carriage of dangerous goods based on sub-section 1.1.3.6 of the ADR Agreement related to quantities carried per transport unit:
The application is meant to simplify the understanding and use of Agreements concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.
Non ADR drivers need to pay attention that where dangerous goods are carried on the same transport unit, the sum of the quantity of substances and articles of transport shall not exceed “1000” – the calculated value of the ADR exemption limit.
For drivers a quick and easy input of the UN number and quantity(ies) of the dangerous goods to carry enables the driver to know immediately the amount of the calculated value (free boundary).
This simple action indicates if the driver can operate the transport without marking the transport unit. He can also monitor the consistency of the relevant documents.
