Aujourd’hui la Turquie is the only international French-language newspaper in Turkey. It is published since 2005 and will celebrate its 100th issue in 2013. In Aujourd’hui la Turquie, journalists and universities professors aim to show the modern face of Turkey to the 4.900 subscribers.
Eminents politicians, statesmen, businessmen and some Turkish ministers have already written for Aujourd’hui la Turquie.
The newspaper was first distributed in Turkey and France, then in Belgium and Canada. Today, with a circulation of 12.000 copies per month, the newspaper is developing public understanding of Turkey in such fields as politic, economy, society, culture… It is now distributed as well in Turkish Airlines first class and business class flights, when these flights fly to French speaking countries.
