Attractions China

The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Ming Tombs, Zhoukoudian, Great Wall, and the Grand Canal are seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The Great Wall of China was built by several dynasties over two thousand years to protect the sedentary agricultural regions of the Chinese interior from incursions by nomadic pastoralists of the northern steppes.

The city of Beijing became Shuntian – now Beijing in 1403. The construction of the new imperial residence, the Forbidden City, took from 1406 to 1420; this period was also responsible for several others of the modern city's major attractions, such as the Temple of Heaven and Tian'anmen.

The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the third- and sixth-longest in the world, run from the Tibetan Plateau to the densely populated eastern seaboard.

Thus we could continue very long until a long list of attractions could be created and in doing so we missed something more substantial. And that we would remain less time to visit these places. So do not waste your time, use this application to find localities you wish to visit.
