CASHIN! app is the fun and flexible app to help motivate people to reach their goals. It is a learning system based on what is sometimes called a “token economy. CASHIN! APP can be used by teachers and students (or independently by students) as an engaging way to track completion of CUSTOMIZED tasks, and to consistently reward progress. The application allows a customized list of “Jobs.” Some examples of jobs: Reading for 1 hour Brushing teeth Cooperating in house chores Eating healthy food Studying for a test Exercising … and much more. Students can use their smartphones to continuously track and report when they complete each job. Each time the student completes a job, the student earns “virtual coins.” Finally, the student enters several “rewards” that the student would like to “purchase” with the “virtual coins” earned with the completion of each job. The rewards are saved in the application in a section called “Store.” Each reward has a customized price in “virtual coins.” The price of each reward is COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZED to meet the needs of the student. Store items examples: Watching TV for 1 hour costs 20 “virtual coins" Going out to eat costs 10 “virtual coins" Earning $2 dollars costs 5 “virtual coins" Eating favorite candy costs 50 “virtual coins” The application can work in two ways: 1. As a stand-alone application with just the student tracking completion of jobs and getting rewards. 2. With a teacher. The teacher is the one can validate if the jobs were completed and if the rewards were received. The teacher does this by going to the CASHIN! website to manage the jobs and rewards for the student.
