The Chteau de Prangins located between Geneva and Lausanne near the shore of Lake Geneva is part of the Federal Museums Group, the ‘Swiss National Museum’ (SNM). The SNM brings together three museums – the National Museum Zurich, the Chteau de Prangins and the Forum of Swiss History Schwyz – as well as the Collections Centre. With more than 820,000 objects, the SNM has the largest collection on Swiss cultural history and applied arts.
