Chinese - English Sentences Audio Flashcards This program sets as a foundation for study of Chinese sentences. The program was created out of my own interest in learning useful sentences and having them presented in HIGH QUALITY AUDIO. We believe that sentences are great for learning a language - much better than word lists. The sentences provide the benefit of providing words in context, where the user can experience the "rhythm" of the sentence, including tone, and grammar. All sentences include: Chinese Characters (simplified) Chinese Pinyin English Text Chinese Audio (Mandarin) English Audio. (Note: Traditional character support to be added in coming update). We strive to provide only the best quality content. If you try the application, you will see what we mean. All audio is high quality, optimized for the iPhone and iPad. The first content source we are providing is from Chinese Sentence a Day (twitter @chinesesentence), including the feed content from September 14, 2010 to June 8, 2011. This is a great source of useful sentences, all that have been hand selected for usefulness in daily conversation. The initial download includes 200 sentences, covering 11 categories, including: Bad Situations Chatting Commands and Instructions Emotions Health, Food, and Drink Help and Thanks Leisure and Travel Love and Life Opinions and Debate Study Work and Jobs NOTE: The free version provides a sample of 20 sentences. If you want the complete set of sentences and audio, you can simply purchase the full deck of individual sentences through the in-app purchase menu within our application.
