Charleston Waterkeeper is dedicated to "Measurably improving the quality of Charleston's waterways through hands-on community involvement, scientific monitoring and legal action." This app is designed to engage and involve citizens in, on and around our waterways. By employing the eyes and ears of the public, Charleston Waterkeeper can expand it's ability to watch over our waterways. The app serves as a tool to allow citizens to report something that is impacting the quality of our waterways (i.e. an oil spill, discharging pipe, excessive marine debris, abandoned boat, etc.) using a reporting process that is as easy and informative as possible. Help Charleston Waterkeeper to keep the waterways around Charleston, SC thriving. Report incidents of pollution, underwater hazards and other environmental risks, find information about local waters and follow the tweets and blog postings of the Charleston Waterkeeper organization.
